a country legend has left the world today. Sad day for country music.

 

Sad indeed. I listen to hard rock but like old country music too. I remember when I was in college, I had to borrow my grandpa's car and a George Jones tape was stuck in the radio. I listened to it for 3 days on my hour ride to school. Those songs were stuck in my head for weeks, especially white lightning. lol.

I'm pretty bummed, I'm definitely a fan of his. I got tickets to his final concert at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for November this year, it sold out in less than 48 hours. I'm sure it'll be turned into a tribute concert or something now, but I was excited to finally see him in concert. Guess it'll be a No-Show Jones concert for sure this time... RIP
