Default rant....

long story short, one of the little metal c-clips that hold the trans cooler lines in the radiator shot out to god knows where, soooo i had to drive to the stealership for a new one.... $8.76 for that tiny little piece of metal wire they call a c-clip.......they had me by the ***** on this one, who woulda figured some little clip would completely disable my truck from being driven..... rant over

well, on the flip side, the 34" radiator and efan swap only cost me $8.76

Ohhhhh, wait a minute. That doesn't include the fittings that screw into tranny case, does it?

Anyone, anyone at all, know what size the fittings on tranny are?

i threw away the package, so i aint got the part #, it was just for the clip, not the fitting

when did you do your swap, b/c I still have the C-clips from the OEM radiator that I could have mailed you for free.

i just did the swap today... free woulda been good! but the whole swap only cost me that c-clip. i got the radiator and fans fo free

I used a paper clip when I broke one on my '01... worked pretty good until I replace the entire setup...

I don't remember what the fans cost, but the new radiator was $183 delivered to the house last week. Don't you have an external trans cooler too?

Yeah, it's doing real good there. Mine had to be mount on a bracket in front of the radiator a few years back. And I'm glad I have it.
