so im logged in and going through posts and all of a sudden an ad comes sliding across the page, forcing me to click on it - whether to close it or take the survey....

I see my membership short lived on this site when forced ads are the norm... i know nothing is free, but pop up ads are lame - this site is already whored out with ads as it is, kill the pop ups!!

looks like you may have some addware my friend. I haven't experienced any popups.

 

 

There are definitely slide over ads, not "pop ups".

Basically it is a flash based ad (last time it was Monroe shocks) that is activated my mouse over and will cause the ad to expand and/or move.

It's annoying for sure, I get it too. I did send IB a request to remove.... Post up your screen shots when you get a chance, I'll send them in.
