Sweet truck. My Uncle had one just like that except dark blue with a 454 and Dad had a '83 GMC 4x4 with 454. Both badass trucks, but they liked to overheat in the summertime.
If yours was 4x4 I could find a new home for it pretty quick.

Yeah Im playing around with the idea of swapping the cab onto a shortbed frame with 4x4. He'll even a long bed 4x4 is cool.
This 350 was a crate motor, so I bet this thing had a 454 from the factory being that it's 3/4 ton and a camper king with all the extra suspension. Ordered the gasket set last night, gotta pick my pistons and rods up from the machine shop, then putting the motor together this weekend. Need small stuff like dist. Cap and rotor, plugs, oil, filter blah blah blah.

Im a union piperfitter so i know what you are going through however we have a descent amount of work here but its not the money like you make in texas. I worked in glen rose texas a few years back at comanche peak nuke plant really enjoyed it. Keep your head up the economy is tanking but it will pick soon theres gonna be a lot work for you in bay city but its a year away at south texas project I would like to be on that one
