Dew, if ya are redoing the multimedia section, could ya break it in 2 parts? Truck related & non-truck? Maybe that's too picky, just puttin it out there.

LOL, I make a living being yelled at all day by general contractors for **** that 95% of the time is my problem due to their mismanagement (3% of time mine and 2% because I think their isn't a problem and they feel like they should still try to stress me out). I can take it.
I hear ya on the mods picking favorably. You'd be amazed at how much we debate each other's points, sides, and how often we take into consideration the "other view" of any member in the background. yes, when a member is favored it's because most mods favor them, however we have enough and a good assortment of mods that it does a pretty good job of representing the public. Pretty good, not perfect, but damn good. I also don't want my opinions taken as rules or law either. All kinds of things rolling around in my head. Mods picking two people every month and letting the public hash them out seems like a cool idea to me. The real problem is getting the winner to do a write up. We'll see though. In the end, you guys get more of a fair shake than you think. At least under my watch.
"One" of the reasons we usually don't post up our ideas in public is because they get picked apart with "better" ways to do them. Kind of like our congress these days, would almost be better most of the time to just do it and ask for forgiveness and make modifications later. Hashing it out in public causes us to cater to many left and right idiots when the middle would have just been fine. We have enough mods to debate and pick things apart, can't even imagine a public forum for that.
You don't want to make too many changes but at the same time tweaks here and there that end up making a big change is good too. A great idea today on how to do things is a small (if not tiny) gear in how things work over all which means that gear may not fit in the big picture. I am babbling Dewey managerial philosophical garbage...i know, but it's the beauty of being me, I love to spew garbage.

I've been reading, sheeesh...pushy pushy pushy.
I have been thinking about this for a while. That's why I jumped on the weapons section so fast when it came up. I am with Cody that I'd hate to see a string of subsections to a hobby section that never gets used but don't want to hear the whining about why we have one hobby subsection but not another. Logistics and setup. That's what I have been thinking about. I'd like to re-do the multimedia section within this move. I am sad concerning activity with TOTM and a few contests that have been thrown up and one of the things I think would help is just a subsection that has only pics of your trucks in it. Leaving moderators free to pick their own choices for TOTM contestants and/or picking trucks to be in the calendar (TOTM and a non-TOTM). All which need to tie into some sort of thought out section/subsection set up that can be modified and make sense. (disclaimer: not saying everybody will like the setup, just that modifications to it to get everyone happy is capable and easy after the fact)
I'll throw up the subsection to get us a photo (hobby) spot but I may move it or reorganize it at a later time. How's that?

pat the nitrous controller needs to be bypassed. then you can troubleshoot correctly.
