It's a tenure thing, they've helped this site grow to what it is today. They pop in from time to time, and we have an active admin(dewey) to take care of any of the things the supermods can't do. Why revoke them of their title when doesn't hurt anything for them to still be classified as a admin.

 

Dewmanshu is the current acting big chief. I certainly hope you guys don't have a problem with how he's running things? Lord knows he's doing better than I did

 

I have no problem with Dewey. He just needs to wash his truck.

 

He's not deaf to our desire, all I can say is be a little patient. He's really making some great changes.

I have been thinking about this for a while. That's why I jumped on the weapons section so fast when it came up. I am with Cody that I'd hate to see a string of subsections to a hobby section that never gets used but don't want to hear the whining about why we have one hobby subsection but not another. Logistics and setup. That's what I have been thinking about. I'd like to re-do the multimedia section within this move. I am sad concerning activity with TOTM and a few contests that have been thrown up and one of the things I think would help is just a subsection that has only pics of your trucks in it. Leaving moderators free to pick their own choices for TOTM contestants and/or picking trucks to be in the calendar (TOTM and a non-TOTM). All which need to tie into some sort of thought out section/subsection set up that can be modified and make sense. (disclaimer: not saying everybody will like the setup, just that modifications to it to get everyone happy is capable and easy after the fact)

I'll throw up the subsection to get us a photo (hobby) spot but I may move it or reorganize it at a later time. How's that?

John, when we come up with a redneck/city slicker boat section...then I'll consider modding you. (CONSIDER)

Nice pic. Dewey thanks for the update, i like the TOTM idea also. I would hate to see it die out like it has. Dewey i think that idea for a hobbie section is cool.

 

A tad off topic but Cody again is spot on concerning admin and their activity level. Pretty much same goes for mods. Any of the admins can do what I do, I just have taken an active roll in tweaking the site a little more than just being there to back the mods. I don't read all threads.

People always ask who is what and why and such. All mods are green and all admins are red.

Pat, I too wondered how active JSmith is anymore, cause I wanted some updated tire & wheel weights, on some of the newer rims. Most is older stuff.

Cody said none of the other admins get on anymore except XLR8N occasionally. Well how can u tell? Bill, you & others don't go green. They just sit there, comment, disappear. I wish u guys wouldn't do that, just have it green whenever you're on here.

A few things I've thought of on that. If u like guns, & I think u do, that can also be a reason to implement a weapons section, kinda a self-serving thing. So if I like boats, well then, draw your conclusion. If a mod likes u, you're golden on TOTM. If not, say the Cody - Scott love affair, he's S.O.L.
