The day I find a girl that understands my truck and obession I'm going to propose on the spot
OH Yea... I am an adict... The truck was torn apart not even after i put 4k miles on it... and almost every week it seams I add more parts to the pile. At this rate I'll never get it done. Also the perfect time to have gas prices drop and my truck is sitting in the garage with almost $4/gal gas in its tank...

Well... You guys knew I'd be in here eventually...my name is Ben and I have a definite problem...
I too bought my truck with the intention of tuning it, putting an intake and exhaust, lowering, tint, and a couple other appearence mods... Then came the drop kit, which wasn't low enough and I think I actually enjoyed breaking my thumb installing
so I made it lower, then came the long tubes, and ORY... Not enough, how about two cutouts then I leave for a deployment with pretty much the sole purpose of going is to make more mod money hahaha... And come home to a nitrous kit converter, and a few other things.. Then, its decided it will "run so much better with a cam" so you know what happens next...
and a ton of mics parts along the way.
Well it ran like that eating transmissions, converters and rearends for light snacks when I called FLT and Yank... And I ACTUALLY left it alone for a couple months... But I couldn't deny this whistling sound I'd kept hearing in the back of my head when I went to sleep... So I fell off the wagon again. Planning a turbo build. Well that happened, and happened very nicely... What's next? Boost controllers? Meth? Another nitrous kit?... And the eventual forged motor of course...
All I can say PT, is that its been fun either way around...
And like Stew, I haven't used one red cent of credit to build it... There has to be some sense of reason.
I found this site, and 8 transmissions, 5 tq converters, 4 rearends, and countless back tires later... I believe I have found my support group...

um......I think I'm eligible for membership....
my signature lists most of my addiction.
I bought this suburban planning on leaving it stock, that lasted 10k miles when I was called and told bring your truck into the shop you're getting a supercharger. I said no way I'm not paying for one, I want to leave it stock. They said well you're not paying but you're not leaving it stock, we need a truck to design a kit for NNBS trucks and who better to torture test it than you.
now we're thinking of forging/stroking it and turning up the boost already...
please make it stop.

Im an addict. i found Pt.net a couple of months ago and now i find my self on it for a couple of hours a day. Its bad. My wife and were just talking about my addiction to my truck and she knows nothing is going to change. i talked about selling my truck cause she just went back to school and she said you kiding me. she said i wouldnt know what to do with out it. when we first met she did not understand my passion for vehicles. now alls she can talk about is when she gets out of school shes buying a TBSS. not to long and ill have made her an addict also. now when spend our weekends at the track.
