And the parts he recommended are total crap... Unless they run the game you're wanting to play an you never intend on playing newer games...

 

Well obviously whatever is high tech right now will be obsolete in 6 months. What makes these parts crap compared to other ones?

But only a 500W power supply is what worries me.

if you buy good stuff, it wont be obsolete, just wont be the newest thing. The new stuff from 2 years ago still runs strong on most games today so..
