Default Oil Starved Mazda

Car came in not running, no compression on 2 and 3 owner says put motor in we say ok. i get the motor almost ready to come out guy asks if we can fix whats there. suspecting a valve issue i pully the timing belt valve cover and while removing the cams the exhaust cam came out, but the intake cam broke in half. uppon closer inspection why, that particular spot had ran dry and tore the cap up and widdled the cam down enough that it broke upon removal. told the owner he says wow i shoulda just let you put the motor in is there extra charge for this, you bet there is. ok put a motor in it. he tried to save himself money but cost more in the long run, gotta love people. the 1st pic is the cam and cap the 2nd and 3rd are pics of the head.

Someone should have changed the oil a little more often!

P.S. If you host the pictures on photobucket vs. embeding them it makes life so much easier. The full pic is in the thread. Instead of having to click on them and close them.
