So you actually renting out spots in your garage or are you helping people out with what they gotta do?
Looks increadible!! what are you gonna do with walls and lighting? Keep as is?
plan is drywall and lots of lights. thinking about 2x4 florescent fixtures stuffed up between the rafters. going for a white box look with flush mounted lights.

Hmmm, that's a good idea! I bought my house and garage with plywood screwed to the bottom of the rafters and painted white, while the attic has no floor and just random **** left up there from the previous owners. 2 incadescent light bulb fixtures for a big 2 car garage sucks, so I think I might steal your idea!

my trusses are 24" on center. you need 24.5" of clear space to put in one of those lights. you can take the bottom of a truss and stretch it over a little to get that space. i am going to frame a series of holes that are 24.5" x 16' 1/2" or 20' 1/2"

then after it is rocked and painted you trim the hole with ceiling grid. the T bars. after that you just slip the light up in the hole at an angle and drop it into place. you have to use 2' section of grid between the lights just to make it look clean.

when you get done you have some serious light that is flush with the ceiling. lights are about $40 each. lamps are cheap. the fire in pretty cold weather, something like 0deg or 20deg.

Are you going to use a boiler or hot water heater for the floor heat? I'm wanting to do floor heat when I build my garage.

No day better than the present!! Do it now and that way you won't have to redo-it later and then have a small water-heater to sell.

Edit on second thought...Solar panels in Nebraska winter when you really need the floor to be heated?? You guys have enough sun? If so put the panels at a steep angle so the snow slides off.
