leaving today i go on my normal route , and its trash day and i have wide streets with sidewalks so as he is passing me (trash truck ) i scooch over on my side and i feel a lil rub on my tires. OH_SHHHHHIIIITTT

there is a dumster in the front of one house so i though i nailed it , nope i nailed a freaking parked car. i didnt notice it sticking out a bit farther and the dumster was in front of it kinnd of blocking it

i get out and of course check out my rig since no one got hurt , and im like uh did i hit anything i see a small white mark on my tire (easy to clean)

then i see this



seems to be plastic but does scrape off with my finger nail i just have to be aggressive , i guess ill be painting them sooner than i thought.

then i go to see what i hit not bad right ?





pretty sure its still my fault although the car was a bit far off the curb , and blocked but they are my neigbors and no one was home when it happened. left my info and come back and talk to them . the guy was selling the car and had it sold today and the guy wanted to give me a good deal for it like 1300 bucks . he came over and saw it and was pissed the buyer , my neigbor was like man i didnt know it happened until about 10 minutes ago. so he offer him 500 bucks as is. the guy declines.
So i go to talk to him . tell him id rather pay for damages if they arent much . so we talk and he calls the guy sells it for 500 and we figure out a deal give him some money and squash it and end with being better friends than before. sucks it happened and i shoul dhave been paying more attention but man im glad my truck is big and the 37's sidewall saved my ***.

now just gotta find a good painter in the area if i cant bufff it out.

 

sorry to hear about the accident, but i couldnt help but laugh when i saw the damage on the cavalier compared to the damage of your truck!

i still cant beleive i did that . i pride my self as a good driver but you always take pics at anything immeditatly for this kind of sitch. i have never had an accident in 10 years. and still dont . thats a lil tire rub. i almost wanted to say , i can do the other side and we can zebra theme it.
