a mild converter and some dr's will be first. then turbo stuff. i see 10's without loosing much if any of the driveability.

after seeing how nice blownchevys g8 looks and then driving one i had to get one. although they are not cheep they almost seem like a bargain to me. i would bet all the major parts of this driveline are ready to handle more than double the stock hp. sturdy engine, tranny and rear end.

it will take a little time to get this thing fast but i will be having fun along the way. with just dr's and a converter these cars are knocking on 12's. giant back seat and trunk, 4 doors, all kinds of cool gadgets and 12's

i traded the wifes z3 for it and she gets my 5 series.

 

i dont want to do anything that will slow it down. i dont know if droping it would make it harder to launch. i will probably lower it a little. then some nice looking summer wheels but only 18's so i can run dr's in the back. probably stick some blizacks on the stock wheels. this thing does not do well in the snow

What a coincidence, I was shopping for one today. What'd you pay for yours if you don't mind my asking? New or used? I am looking at 5K mile used GT's and hoping to pay no more than 19K. Am I being realistic? You tell me.
