Ok we have 3 Ford Trucks and 1 Ford Excursion.
Tire pressure is checked every 2weeks, and is set to Ford specs when serviced.

02? (last year of the 7.3) Excursion 4x4 3.73s 7.3
Had to replace the turbo 2 times for unknown reasons, Ford dealership doesnt know what happened. Gets 17-18mpg. Steering is horrible, every steering component under it has been replaced and hasnt helped. Ford dealership wont help us anymore with this problem.

01 F-250 CCSB 3.73's 4x4 7.3 218,000 miles
Only good thing bout this truck is that it gets 17-18mpg. It rides pretty rough thanks to the front leaf springs. No problems with this truck.

02? (First year of the 6.0) F-350 CCLB Dually 4x4 3.73's 180,000miles
Spent $20,000 in engine repairs and injectors, Gets 14-15mpg.

05 F-350 CCLB Dually 4x4 4.10s 60,000 miles 100gal fuel tank in bed
Turbo is being replaced as we speak, should be picked up from the dealership on 4/24/06. Radiator cap keeps leaking, workin on the 4th one right now. 3 Injectors replaced at 43,550 miles. Gets a wooping 8-10mpg.

{I find it humorous that of all the post about the new look, only two didn't bash it. }

(Our 4 Ford truck that we have, even with correct PSI in the tires, and all have been aligned with in the last 2.5 months. They are horrible driving down the interstate, Drive it for 3+ hours and you are worn out.

{What, do you suppose that tells us?
I'm thinkin', if your company has a 1954 Massey Ferguson, they don't have many new trucks for you to drive.
I've driven quite a few new trucks from the big three. I didn't notice any slack in the steering in any of them. Maybe, someone needs to inflate the tires on the "new Fords" at your company.
The new Fords ride fairly smooth, just like all the rest. Let's not forget, these are trucks. Trucks aren't necessarily meant to ride soft.
Anyway, appearance is a matter of opinion. You don't have to like it and you don't have to buy it. But, you don't have to bash it, either.}

My brother has a 04 RCLB Dually D-max with work bed on it, It rides wayy smoother than our Fords. A friend of mine has a 06 Ram CCSB Cummins, it rides better than the Fords but not as good as the Chevy. Mostly because of the IFS compared to the SFA. Basically like IRS and SRA on 4wheelers, i know its apples to oranges. But when you have 8-10hour+ Days of Driving You want something you can be comfortable with and not have to stop at every other station to fuel up. You could ask my boss if you wanted to, he is the one that has to answer to the head honcho of the company bout these outrageous bills he keeps gettin from Ford.

But I dont want it to sound like im Bashing all Fords because i know of some that have been great trucks. And im not praising Chevys or Dodge because i know of some that have been full of problems..

The way i see it, Almost everything is gettin made cheaper and quality is starting to go down the drain.
