New Ford Super Duty
#11
lot of people cursed Dodge for their big rig look when the new body style came out. It took a while to get used to it, I think this will be the same thing. But that ONLY if you like the Fords in the first place...

It doesn't appear very different to me. Here's the current truck with the more expensive appearance package.

I find it humorous that of all the post about the new look, only two didn't bash it.

I'm thinkin', if your company has a 1954 Massey Ferguson, they don't have many new trucks for you to drive.
I've driven quite a few new trucks from the big three. I didn't notice any slack in the steering in any of them. Maybe, someone needs to inflate the tires on the "new Fords" at your company.
The new Fords ride fairly smooth, just like all the rest. Let's not forget, these are trucks. Trucks aren't necessarily meant to ride soft.
Anyway, appearance is a matter of opinion. You don't have to like it and you don't have to buy it. But, you don't have to bash it, either.

i dont like it either, i think trucks are getting to big, might as well invest in a big rig. but im sure we will get use to them. the only ppl that will buy them are the die hard ford ppl that have to get the biggest and baddest and newest truck out there.
just for fun id like to see what this big expensive lump of crap runs at the track.

Part of the "big-rig" looks comes from the new mandate that trucks & SUVs have to have lower front bumper heights for crash reasons(to more properly pummel a hybrid). Therefore, the grill is now taller to compensate to reach the hood. As for upside down headlights, maybe it's also a height restriction thing, or just a stupid move on Fords part.
