Florida is crazy like that too. Like whole developments that are ghost towned

 

In arlington/pantego tx. off arkansas where road turns into gravel. there was a house we went to for halloween. family was murdered. An house was boarded up. We go in everything was there still, dirty, trashed an body outlines an blood stains. This was when I was 18. House was built on a hill. The front of house one story but alot stairs n rooms. Was weird till u went to back an.saw rest the house.

I bet you find more creepy stuff in PA than in that place, Stew. A few yrs. back, there was a TV show, I never saw it, based on the people of Pennsylvania, Freaks and Geeks.

John, on the FL thing, I could tell u off a place in Homestead (near Miami) that is kinda neat, some history to it, not really creepy tho. More amazin than creepy. Historical but a tad odd is the Winchester House (ya that Winchester).

It's in San Jose, CA. they used to be open to the public too yrs. ago, probably still tho. 1 thing that was neat (odd) was a stairway that led up to the ceiling. They just end there, right at the ceiling.

 

That Winchester house was built to ward off spirits, ghosts, and that sorta thing. She was a bit odd in that sense.
