Man, you picked the right guy to stay with. Its no short drive from Wyoming to south Texas. That was really cool of Cody to give you a place to crash and fix your truck with his parts. Did he make you a sandwich for the trip back home? lol
Thats my worst fear when racing any distance away from home - 'what am I gonna do if it breaks?'.

It wasnt really that big of a deal to help him out, I would hope someone would do the same if the tables were turned.
My truck ran a 14.8@89 with a 2.1 60, tipping the scales at 7900 with me in it and on the 35" tire setup you see in the pic. Im happy considering its still on the stock slipping trans. A suncoast level IV and 1058 converter are definitely on the wish list

Haha, you guys are too funny. Cody is a HELL of a guy!
And Chris, at least my truck died in battle at the track, and didn't commit suicide all by its self in a parking lot like YOURS!
I really don't worry too much about breaking down when I go to things like this and this is PROOF
. I am pretty sure there would be some one who could help me out. Worst case, Is I would have had to have the truck towed to some place like AMMCO and had the tranny fixed. I plan for this and take a little extra cash and have credit cards for such emergencies. I'm not gona hold back just cuz I'm a "little" way away from home
. Over all, I had a great time and meet a lot of really cool people.

Kyle the next time you come down here Im going to kick your ***! Look what you made me do to my truck

Along with all the other stuff you saw I had to install on my truck I ordered another 750 bucks of steering parts today to get everything done. If you wouldnt have made get my Z out of the garage I wouldnt be tearing a perfectly good truck apart.
I was suppose to leave the Dmax alone
