Default Mosque @ Ground Zero?!?!?! WTF!!!

If you think that putting up a mosque 600 feet from ground zero and having the inauguration on the anniversary of 9/11/11 is immoral, inhumane and a complete lack of respect for the memories of all that perished there on that day, and their survivors, that politicians are doing a grave ...injustice to the fallen heroes, their families... and all the people of New York City, please copy and paste.

For some of you that don't know, I am a Native New Yorker and this is a real hit below the life of a gnat. Please show your support in denying any entity from building a mosque at Ground Zero where American were lost on American soil.

old news

Not that I don't think they are ******* for wanting to build it, but that is their right. It's 2 blocks away from the world trade center, "muslims" didn't crash planes into those buildings, and if it were a church or synagogue, nobody would be saying anything.

I'm an atheist so I generally hate all religions equally.

They were muslim extremists. Maybe all muslims are not evil like those *******, but to do that would still be a great injustice to the familys of those that perished during and after the attacks.

I don't like muslims either, but regardless of whether it is right or wrong, or how much people might hate it. It is a right and a freedom for US citizens to have the freedom of religion. Not the freedom of religion as long as it is christianity.

As far as the opening date being 9/11/2011, I haven't heard any credible news source confirm that. I have heard it on talk radio shows and I'm sure it's in chain letters, but if it were true I'm sure that would definitely be a big talking point on major TV networks. I've seen it mentioned on lots of the news networks and none of them have even mentioned a date other than the year 2011.

Point being, they are not breaking any laws. Sure it's a slap in the face to some people, but that is the cost of freedom. Now if they build it, and someone sets it on fire or something, well they'll have to deal with it. But would we really be any better than they are if someone were to blow that place up?

The guy in charge of building the mosque is a piece of ****, and probably does have ties to terrorism and the like, but if someone were to blow it up, 100s of innocent muslim US citizens could be hurt/killed. And before you come back and say, well what do you think 9/11 was, we are not terrorists.

The world will go to **** before it gets any better. This is necessary collateral damage. I don't care how optimistic they are, or how they portray themselves to the American public...people will die because of this mosque. There's no doubt about it. Worst part is, if they actually took the time to think about it, they would realize that...

If that mosque gets built next to ground zero it is a direct insult to the american people and a victory for all of the islamic/muslim/whatever they are extremists. All they want to do is disrupt how this great country operates and take over the world.

I'm sure it won't last long. Somebody going to burn it down before it finishes getting built. OBAMA is taking the US down!

From a Twitter I found:
In fairness, we've been building 'ground zeros' near Iraqi mosques since March 2003.
But seriously, they can build whatever they want. That's what makes this country better than most.
