talpirid is another killer...its a gummy worm that they eat and will belly em up...in NY u have to have a pesticides licenses to buy it but u may not need one there where u are...works really well!...

if u have grubs u should put down merit or allectus in a month or so to make sure they dont do any damage to ur lawn...right now they arnt doing anything but august is when they reek havoc...well then again thats what its like here in the Northeast so I dont know about the warmer climates...

let me know if u have any more questions to get rid of those suckers...if you want to go to a local store(if there is one by you) Ill give you my account number so u get it at cost...
Wow, good information and Thanks.

Yeah they will tear up a yard quick. Also very territorial from what I've read also. So what you think are dozens tearing it up will probably be just one. In 2 weeks I'll bet this one had a 100 yards of tunnel cut up. I'll be okay until another one moves into his now vacated territory. I've takne about 6 out over the last couple years. Hopefully I'm thinning them down.

wow. i thought my dad and i were the only ones with mole problems. they are messing my lawn up like crazy!

the other day i was doing some landscaping and my black lab was outside with me. all of a sudden i hear this scretching and i look over and my lab is like jumping around all excited. im like WTF did she get a bird or something. nope she got a mole. i killed it with the shovel i had in my hand. now my problem is my lab smells the mole holes and starts digging up my lawn.

im going to give the flood the hole with water method.

I normally get the little creatures with a shovel while theyre under ground.. instaburied

a regular shovel or a narrow spade beheads them nicely as long as you lay the grinder to the edge for just a sec

I drive a heavy tractor over my yard enough that it keeps them either out or squished for the most part... any stragglers either get the shovel, or I borrow my sister's Daschund, that little guy LOVES a mole hunt, and its definitely fun to watch and drink beer... very King-of-the-Hillish
