kevin bacon lol.... crappy truck, crappy engine... might do 13's.. once.. lol.. then the engine goes to limp mode..

While its nothing too impressive, it is definitely a step in the right direction. They will do well with a tune.

Hell, I'll be the first to admit I was devastated when ford axed the Gen III Lightning. If they made it, I'd be driving it today.

I just cant get with the new body style fords, I have found them to be less & less attractive...I like the interiors but the exteriors are hideous(on there half tons anyway).

I loved my Gen2 Lightning. I thought it was clean looking truck. Body lines were nice on it. The motor ran good with minimal money in mods but the motors also popped very easily when abused for extended periods of time. With GM you can run them hard all night, put em up wet and do it again the next day with out much worry.

Seems ok engine wise. Ugly though. Maybe itll start something among the big three. Didnt gm beat ford to this years ago with the syclone and typhoon? I wish theyed through a turbo on something that isnt diesel tho. btw, Have you guys seen the callaway silverados? Not shabby but not cheap

hate to be that guy, but dodge actually beat everyone to the hot rod truck thing by a long shot...they had a high performance package for their 2wd half tons in the mid 60's, came with a 426 wedge head V8, bucket seats, stripes etc.
