Default MIA: A few updates - not just truck

Its been few months since I've posted - I've had a lot going on...

A few updates -

Truck - I'm still tinkering away with new mods and parts, as I am not in any rush to finish it, the fun has come back. Im rebuilding the rear end, axles, posi, girdle... nothing major just upgrading stuff. Im also installing an accusump pre-oiling system, for dry starts (truck is not a DD). In the spring I am building a custom system too, Im looking forward to that.

Home - My wife and I just got a new house - in fact we move in this weekend. It is 2800 sq ft, 4brm 3 bath + a bonus room (18x20) upstairs with a gas fireplace, as well as another fireplace downstairs. 3 Car garage, carpeted and finished - this is my new mancave - I got rid of my shop to get the house. The house is on just over 1/2 acre and has a pool, spa, and gas fire pit, outdoor lighting and more.

Its been a pain in the *** process, but we are glad its finally done... I plan on having a party in jan for my Bday - a g2g bbq. I cant wait for warm weather and the pool... ive never had a pool before, so we're excited.

We also got a new puppy - pure bred golden retr. gift from my parents, her name is Alabama (anyone see True Romance?) she is 12 weeks old and already crafty as hell.

On a personal note, I've gotten back into exercising and training, Ive lost 45lbs since August and going for a total of 60lbs, only 15 to go... but i feel great.
:nunchuk1:

Anyways, thats what Ive been up to... if anyone in socal is free saturday to help me move thatd rock!!!!
(cough JULIEN - LEE cough)!

ahh the mysterious email... well I cant really get into it but it was a made up email from my friend Brandan, just to give me a hard time. Nope, the tune is not complete, as to why it doesnt matter, once I am settled and can find the time I will have it done on the dyno - i already have a tuner. Im in no hurry as I have a couple of issues I need to hunt down before the final tune - a burned plug wire (i have taylor 409's going in), the abears have a small leak, I need to get a 10 rib tensioner pulley (system is only running a 8 rib belt right now) a couple small exhaust leaks, install the rest of the parts that have been sitting too, Its a work in process with just minor **** left or so they say...
Won a best in paint at a local show last month, this guy had a boom cam and took this overhead shot -

Sweet shack. Better get a couple Roomba's to clean all of those 2800 square feet! Your dog Alabama looks just like my nephew dog Indiana did when he was that age! Good to see ya posting again, and good to see that one of the baddest trucks in the country isn't getting neglected.

Thanks for the nice words bro!

What color is Indiana now? We are curious to know just how dark she will be. The vet seems to think she will be a blonde retriever, we'll see?

The house and truck both look great. Glad to see the truck is still a work in progress and can't wait to see what it does with the new parts.
