Me and a guy may have a deal, my four wheeler for his 5.3. If it all goes well, I think I will try to get a couple mods done to it before putting it in, like a cam for one thing.

 

whats the four wheeler worth and which is it? i might be in the hunt for one, willing to give up my stock 6.0 short block for a 4 wheeler..

do it man! i killed the 4.8 threw in a 5.3 with stock heads and cam and went 13.6 on motor and 12.2 on a 150 shot! its completly worth it! now its got cam n heads and is knocking on 10s

Its a 99 polaris scrambler 500 4x4. I used to ride it all the time, tons of power and great riding. They closed all the local riding areas and it just sat by my shed for over a year. The old gas still in it gummed up the carb and the battery died. I just dont feel like messing with it so I offered this guy a trade for his engine, he should be bringing it tommorow.
Like this only in not so great shape from sitting up in the weather. It does have fender extensions, front and rear racks, 26" tires on black ITP wheels, winch.

The trade is not worth for a 5.3, imo

 

I would hold out for a 6.0 but as long as it's what you want then go for it!
