Atleast that I can see anyways....

Just about everyone here does the wrenching on their own cars with the exception for a lot of transmission work. Seems like any thread I see on Tech is "Just got my car back from having my cam installed at such and such shop"

Agreed. Not only do you know the exact quality of the work that goes into your stuff when you work on it, you get the practice and knowledge from it. I wouldn't trade that for anything, especially not a bill for labor on an install...

Agreed with all. Except tech does have some more radical builds which sometimes applies to us.

There's a lot more ppl on tech. But there a good few that work on their own cars too.. But most all of us do our own work. Its nice to do your own work so if somthing goes wrong or you have a probelm you can fix it.. I don't mind doin the work but some of it isn't that fun lol

Ls1tech has a great classifieds section Sometimes i feel that the prices on pt are double that of tech. But they get like 10 new pages added every day.
