2 years in a row...BIG10 can't hang with the SEC in this day and time.
LSU lost 2 games in triple overtime to SEC teams and should have lost two others if luck wasn't their way.
Everyone keep most of the NFL teams out of the south so SEC NCAA football can continue to stay on top if you ask me. NFL is too much hype and I don't even follow it. Once they leave college then who cares for me.

Why? because OSU couldn't throw all over LSU and Wells wasn't able to make a ton of huge plays. If a big play making offense is what you like to see then it might have been a boring game. But seeing a defense cause 3 turnovers and a blocked extra point is pretty exciting to me.
I can give you two examples of how defense oriented most of the SEC is. A guy I played High school ball with was a receiver with Jerry Rice/Randy Moss level tallent. The quarter back didn't even have to be able to throw, all he had to do was throw it up and he would come down with it 9 out of 10. He got a full ride to Auburn and they put him as a defensive back. He wanted to play WR so he quit. They talked him back down there and then the players ran him off for being a candy ***. He never played college ball due to his ego issues. He was good and knew it.
The other local boy was an excellent Q-back and got a full ride to Auburn, they put him on defense. He wanted to play Q-back so he quit and went to NC State, a non SEC team that would let him play Q-back. His name is Phillip Rivers of the San Diego Chargers.

I'm sure you don't mean to take away from the Big 10 at all as many impressive players come out of there. For instance, there was a kid a couple years younger than me in high school graduating from U of M right now, Jake Long. Guarenteed first round draft pick. But i agree with you on the NFL. not fun to watch like college ball is. unfortunately, i'm partial to Notre Dame, who have done nothing but let me down for the last 14 years.

All I was stating is that the SEC is typically stronger on defense than offense which leads to games played differently at times with lower scoring games and less flare for the spectators in some cases. If you can keep them from scoring, you'll probably win.
