HUGE? More than 250K? Have you read up on that lately? Good read if you are interested.

The bossy caved to union management, he had to. Union is a great thing to preserve workers rights, they set the presedence for employee well being and policies, but most of the time create a ton of dead beats that want something for nothing. Helping drive the cost of everything up in the ultimate end.

I wish ya luck, be semi-aggressive and most importantly confident with your prospective employers. I interview electricians and helpers all the time, I don't care what your experience is or what you know, the moment I get a feeling he/she is going to be a mature and responsible employee who doesn't come with alot of baggage...HIRED. Confidence, not cockiness. Find a way to get the message across that you can be counted on, unlike most people your age and you'll increase your chances.

BTW, I am emailing my resume to ya tonight Kyle.

Hmmm...thanks for the link man. I didn't know that. I had every intention of flipping this place and everyone I ever talked to including my realtor (my uncle) and my mortgage guy (his friend) that I had to be in it 2yrs. I'll keep this in mind if it comes down to it.

Two of the VP's were there today and they're going to put a package togther for me to relocate to either Jackson, MS or podunk Weidman, MI. I'd kind of like to stay here though. I mean screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me.

Make sure you read the last section of that article, you are probable eligible for a prorated tax exempt sell since you would probable qualify for "special circumstances" sale of the property (selling because of work related change).

That's the thing. I'm at a point in my life where I'm willing to relocate if that's what it comes down to. That just might be what I have to do. Everybody I work with says it'll be so easy for me to find a job here in Tucson. There are a lot of Engineering opportunities here, but a lot of companies are so specified that they need/want someone that knows, in depth, what they do. That's kind of hard to get when you're the only company in town and only one a couple in the country that do that. HR depts around here are real relaxed when it comes to hiring people in a timely manner. I think on average it takes an engineer 4 months around here to get a job, with a year being the longest.
