Looks like I'm getting my new truck

Nothing special, 2006 WT, 4.3L with the 5 speed, just something that I can use as my new DD while I tear apart my current truck and decide what I'm going to do with it... 6.0L? Build the 5.3?
Wanted to know what you guys think about this deal, like I said, 2006 WT, 4.3L 5 speed, 15,xxx miles. Paying $13,500.
Here's the link to it

I can get a supercharger for this truck real easy and real cheap, I was thinking about doing that if I felt like I needed to. The superchargers that the put on the 3.2L motors will work on these fairly well, my dad and I run a wrecker service, and have pulled in a few supercharged 3.2Ls in the past.
EDIT : They're also going to deliver it and put a warranty on it.

I was hoping he'd counteroffer me something in the high 12's and eventually we'd work our way to about 12,250 or 12,500... but that's not what happened and I couldn't get him to budge.

If I wanted something with 150,000 + miles, I'd keep driving my 02. The point is,
1. Fuel economy, that' V-6 may be a dog, but it's fuel economy is going to run circles around the 5.3.
2. It's not gonna be my go fast vehicle... it's gonna be the grocery getter, get me to work and back vehicle, insert your boring daily routine here truck, the highest speed limit that this truck is gonna see on a daily basis is 25mph... doesn't take much motor to get goin that fast.
3. It's much, much cheaper to get a truck like this than a similar one with a 4.8 or 5.3, especially since most of them in this area are 4x4. Something like that would cost me something around 18 - 20k.. and I just can't afford that right now in my life.
I understand where you're coming from, because i used to be the same way, but the V-6 just seems much more practical for me right now as a DD.

First of all the V6 will NOT get better mileage than a 5.3. Second of all that is WAY too much money for the cheapest truck that came off gms assembly line. Yeah it has low miles but a truck with a 100k as you know isnt even hurt. You can get a loaded out rcsb 06 for 8-9 all day long.
