i'm not impressed. I'm NOT kidding. but that is a sweet ride and has lots of potential.

That thing is pimp. I am just wondering why they went to the smaller turbo??? It says that it will now run 13.XX, but with the old turbo it went 12.XX. What gives?????

 

The only one I know of that's faster is the Lingenfelter TT 427 Escalade EXT, but it's .1 faster and 1 mph slower. I think it's pretty impressive that the Livernois truck did it with a bone stock engine and the only performance mods being the turbo kit and a catback.

The smaller turbo is much more fun on the street. It spools instantly and the truck "feels" faster. The GT-67 that was on the truck for the 12-sec pass, but had a slightly longer spool time since the truck has a stock converter.

Well i think its a tight *** truck! It runs awesome and thats all that matters.

 

I dont think this thing was meant to be an all our racecar guys. Maybe I'm missing something

 

I'm impressed. Those are some great times for something that heavy on 24"s'....especially considering they run high 15's at best when stock. I can't hate on that truck...it's sweet.

ok, ok, i'm impressed. I just always assumed a turbo 6.0L would be much faster than a whipple 6.0L that was the same weight etc. I guess I was wrong. Doesn't matter. That thing is SWEET and I would take it in a heartbeat if i has the $$$$$

 

Really? I thought it was a little quicker than that stock. I never ran my Tahoe before mods. Well, I haven't run it at the track since mods either Unless you count the time it blew up on the first pass

 

My friends Denali went 15.9x stock, I just figured they were close. Our local track is about at dead sea level, and we usually run good numbers here. Bottom line, that truck is SWEET!
