Awesome, S30V steel. I have a Boa with that steel and it's very nice.

Ive had kershaws for about 10 years now and will never own another knife. Theyre great, hold an edge reasonably well and are tough. Half serrated is a must IMO.

I'm actually not a fan of serrated blades. I have many of them, but I've never found them of much use. I like the looks of a plain blade much more.

They work great for cutting through those plastics straps around cardboard boxes, popping the pelvic joint apart on deer, and on tough materials like leather or rubber. You dont ever use the serrated portion of the blade anyway on a regular knife, might as well have another surface that is useful. It keeps the straight edge of my knife sharper for longer since I tend to use the serrated portion for anything I can. Plus it works great for popping caps of beer bottles

Ive had the ken onion assisted blades since they came out and were almost a hundred bucks a pop and Ive never had one fail on me, I lose them before something breaks except for the "safety" that holds the blade, Ive had one of those break but I believe that was from a dumbass friend playing with it and trying to close it with the safety in the locked position.

Oh come on, that's like asking Imelda Marcos how many shoes...or Ted Nugent how many guns

You can never have enough of a good thing
