Lets talk about big life decisions
#31
I was a welder/fitter/fabricator for eight years. I could not get away from it fast enough. It will make you an old man quick. Very hard on the body. The last two years I went to school part-time and work as much as I could fabricating. It took a little while to get back up in pay (which was not all that great to begin with - Southern state). After seven years working for others, I started my own CAD support business. I have been self employed for eight years.
If I had it to do over again, I may have went into Process Control. Still might, who knows.
