On a totally stock dodge QC hemi 4wd, would it be faster to race in 2wd or switch it into 4hi?

If you have traction problems starting in 2wd, then I'd say go for 4wd. If you can't spin in 2wd, then there's no reason to go 4wd.

if u cant spin in 2wd...ur not launching hard enough go 4wd and just wholeshot the best u can..switch to 2wd once u hit 2nd gear.

well..thats what i do...4500 rpm launch in 4wd is pretty f'n sweet whole truck just 'lifts up' and goes like hell.
