Comming back from a meeting at the Harley Davidson plant here, pulled out from a side street into 55-60mph traffic. Needless to say I had to get on it to merge into the flow. I really did not hammer it but it doesn't matter when your tires squeel at part throttle and the tires back second all the freaking time.
He pulled me over about a mile up the road, I gave him the "I have a built trans sob story and can't help it". He was younger and seemed like he was in a hurry or something. I just got real lucky, explaining that to my wife after the big one I got last spring would have went over like a fart in church.
I guess there are a couple cool cops left out there, he could have wacked something like recless driving on me I'll bet.

Yep, really lucky. It's crazy how some cops will let you go and others will almost kill you over something like that..

 

Got let off for doing 90 in a 45 on my bike and when i passed the cop going the opposite way I hammered it but the road was really winedy and I had a new rear tire and when I slowed down to turn at a stop sign I saw him about 100 yards back and he hit his lights and I pulled over. Checked my license BS'ed with me about my bike and told me about his and then let me off and told me to slow it down.

 

Congrats on that one! I never get let off My first ticket was 88 in a 50 and my DARE officer pulled me over. I was like "hey officer Williams, werent you my DARE officer?" He goes "yeah Beau, sign here" SUNUVA!!!!! My dad wasnt too happy with me on that one.

 

I got let off once in my moms car when I was 16. I rolled through a stopsign right in front of a cop ( i dident see him). He pulles me over and told me to give him a good reason why I dident come to a complete stop at the corner. So I said " uhh... the car is a stick and its easier to roll into first gear than stoping". He looks at me and says, "Ok, good enough". then walks away. That was a good day.

 

haha. ok get ready to call BULLSHIT on this one.. but i have witnesses (riding with me) running late going on post on my way to the field... 146 in a 70... and i walked. back on post that is, he escorted me and my R6 to the house and took my keys. but i didnt go to jail.

Lucky you. I got pulled over once in my truck. I had no liscence, expired tags and plate, and no insurance (there was nothing legal on the truck). By some miracle I got let go.

 

I got stopped for drag racing and had a suspended liscense and a bench warrant and got let go. He scared teh **** out of me first asking if I had anyone that I could get to come pick up my truck. I knew I was going to jail, then he got tired of waiting, so he let me go.
