A pet peeve of mine I guess.

Motor - converts electrical energy into mechanical energy
Engine - converts chemical energy into mechanical energy

Therefor, you have an ENGINE in your truck, not a motor unless you are driving a tesla roadster or something.

 

you'll notice I never refer to it incorrectly as i was taught the same thing but damn, it's just a pet peeve

 

Motor, Engine same thing In any instance one is converting something it energy

i do it but just because its easier to type motor than it is to type engine

I use both, but i will catch myself and usually use engine only, my biggest peev is the work nos, it refers to a company that sell nitrous parts, ITS NOT WHAT YOU SPRAY...

Also im not your bro, or your home boy, and the work hella makes me want to kill people.
