Installed LED Dusk Til Dawn Security Light
#1
So like most of a few of you, I too have the "honey-doo" list. Today's mini project was to install a new LED security light to the pump room.
Here's the old light. Cheapy from "Home Repo"

This beaute is at the top of our pump room 10ft up. We're making the change b/c the sensor on this one doesn't seem to work.
Here's the new light. A Dusk till Dawn LED Security light from "Home Repo". This one only burns at 24w.

I drilled a hole, threaded the wires thru, mounted the light to the support board, and sealed the hole up with caulk. Once the light was secure, I also added caulk to the space between the light's base and the board.
The lines were live, and I was too lazy to shut the circuit off, and I paid for it, once. It wasn't that bad. Just skeered me a little. Still to lazy too lazy and I used 2 screw on connectors.

Mounted the light, liberally taped up the connections, and zip tied the wires to keep away from the elements. THE END.

What's your pump room for? Looks good though. LED lights don't attract mosquitoes like regular lights do, as an added bonus. If you wanna feel fantastic, take a shock from a 220V welder at 90 amps. It feels great once you let go.
