Nearly the same thing happened to my woman's grandparents two years ago. A Wal-Mart truck came at 65 mph through an intersection, right through a red light and t-boned their van. It's a horrible thing that someone can be gone in an instant. If you ever lose contact with someone permanently, when you're used to being around them every day, it's the worst feeling out there. Traction control definitely saves lives, but in that case, I don't think much would have helped. R.I.P.
