And am thinking of selling it.

Some of you might recall that I bought a 2011 VW Golf TDI last year and put 14,000 fun miles on it in 4 months. It's averaged 45mpg and is quite fun being as torquey as it is and also being a manual, but I'm kinda over it, and need something else now. If I sell it I'll only lose $1500-$2000 from the original purchase price because they retain their value so well.

So that being said I'm looking for a new DD, doesn't need to get 45mpg's but it'd be nice if it was in the high 20's. Needs to be fun, a manual if it's a sports car and it needs to be able to tow a small motorcycle trailer or have the ability to be able to mount a hitch too.
I'm a bit all over the place right now with what I want but I've thought of used C6's and CTS-V's. And since I know I'm gonna need a D-Max soon I've also thought of buying a used one and using it as a DD but due to how big it is and the limited mpg's...it's not my first inclination.

So what used/cheap cars are you guys into right now that can be found between $10-20K? Lemme hear them.

 

I’ve been keeping an eye out for a Pontiac G8 GT. They drive really nice, have plenty of power and decent MPG. I would say the fit and finish is just slightly shy of the CTS-v but they are a lot of fun to drive.

A modded Dmax would be a sweet DD since your going to need 1 anyways. You might be able to get 20 mpg out of it haha. Just don't lift it and put 37s like chase and you should be alright lol.
