Default i want to build a house.... underground

thats right. ive been kicking around the idea of a house that is completely underground. garage and everything. im thinking 14" thick concrete walls with 5/8" rebar & fiber... the roof ( still under ground) wil also be 12"+ thick with 5/8'' rebar & fiber im thinking 10ft ceilings geothermal ac/heat and maybe some solar panels. mid size. 1200-1400 sq ft only thing that i would have to look out for is floods!! LOL ... id have to find some high land with good drainage

wachall think?

First big rain your underground home, will become a above ground home lol.

I know a guy who lives in a house like this. Are you going for something that would be cheap to heat and cool, or something that will keep you and your supplies safe when the apocalypse comes? I'm cool with either!

Are you actually serious about building this house? There is so much already wrong with your plans but I could help you a lot if you decide to build it. Building anything underground is not as easy as you think.
