I went back NA for a year in between my Kenne Bell and my TVS, it was fun for about a day then the lack of power sucked.

Pat my truck isnt as heavy as yours. Now Im going back but not stock, a new cam nice set of heads and a stall for the 80e. So the fun isnt completely gone.

Mine wasnt stock when I was NA either, I just missed all the low end I had. Of course when I was NA I was planning to go back to boost, I had no intention of staying that way. If I was then I would raise compression and go to a bigger cam.

How long were ya boosted & how much power were ya in N/A before, either numbers or E.T.'s?

Why?

I gotta tell ya. I went boosted in Aug. My regret, if any, I kinda wish I had $ for supporting mods earlier on & time to install blower a long time ago. Ahh, live & make the best of the present in life.

Biggest thing that bothers me, blower or turbo, is what it adds to our already front end biased, heavy trucks now made heavier. It's disrupted my handling prowess slightly. Ya, I know some will say, the added power makes up for it, that fun factor & instant extra oomph is there. That said, extra wtg. it adds to nose, just add more power to cure weight penalty.

At this juncture, it's like this, I had some fun w/. a brunette (slightly moddded N/A), enjoying my blonde (Radix) now, cause they say they have more fun.
Down the road, I might want a redhead (spray or stroked).

I highly doubt this actual truck will ever go back N/A. I would do a brunette (another project vehicle) again, but a really hot one (N/A but stroked) or blonde debuts as a turbo (again, likely another vehicle).
While the women can interchange the hair color metaphor if u like brunettes more than blondes, I'll likely want a trio or so (blown, sprayed, maybe more cubes if I get real into it to run number I want).

Pat, a metaphor means, aww ****, go look it up.

I'm sayin I really like bein blown now that I am. I wouldn't go N/A ever again on my present vehicle, at least I don't plan to. I would on somethin else, truck or car, but it be more in depth like heads, & / or slightly wilder cam, more cubes / stroker.

I might go into a multi facet approach on my current truck (blown, spray & maybe cubes).

I like a variety of approaches to things, just as some on this site like, N/A, there are others who gotta have turbo, blown or spray to really have it how they want their rides.
Kinda like women, some like brunettes, some like blondes. I happen to like both.

Tom- I am well aware what a Metaphor is, however a understanding of how a metaphor is used will not help one understand what the hell you wrote.
