My best friend put a 357 in his temple back in 99, depression is an illness and those who succumb to it will never be able to explain it. After all, how can they?


What I don't understand is if they have decided to die...WTF is up with jumping in front of a car or truck?!?!! That has got to be a horrible freaking way to go. I mean just horrible if it doesn't knock you out.

My brother had someone jump in front of his suburban like that and he missed them too. I think they are looking for insurance money for their family or something. It is pretty sad when people get to that point. You just have to remember when people do that they have something wrong with them mentally. I don't mean that in a negative way towards anyone at all. Generally people that have done that have attempted or thought about it for a while. I'm glad you missed him as that can be something very hard to deal with. I often times thought if they saw what it does to their friends and family they would think twice a out it.

we had someone jump on front on us on 30 one night headed back from lipan, didnt even see him, he was wearing all black...barely missed him, but it was too close for comfort.

yea that was a shitty thing he did, but a few members are right, depression is an illness you dont know about or can understand..

Sorry to hear about that Dew. I to have lost some people I know to this same thing, but instead they opt that hanging from a rope suited them better. I know what depression is, but going that route is a permanent solution to a temporary problem..

a girl did that here in dallas at 75 and legecy. She just stepped out in front of a semi goin 70+. splattered her **** everywhere and fucked that semi up. People dont recover from seeing that kind of ****.
