So what are this inspections for? Is it the smog checks we have in Cali?

Oh and corey, if ya ever need the truck passed I have a buddy that works at a dealership. Usually the ol' $20 handshake does the trick! just as long as there isn't any SES lights on.

Once a year you have to take your vehicle to a shop or dealership or inspection station and they do a quick safety check (signals, mirrors, lights, etc...) and will plug up to your cars OBDII port and check for codes/sensors not ready. They also check your gas cap to make sure it functions properly. Some places will drive your vehicle around the block to check the brakes and tires and stuff too.

gotta love the surge and die when trying to park or at a stop sign...its really fun going through campus, stopping at a crosswalk for 50 people to cross, and you have to restart it lol

My cutout gave me problems in getting mine inspected at a place.

"your muffler isn't connected to your exhaust" LOL WUT?

Went to a local place and all he did was turn on the harads and check my milage. lol

They just started the obd2 scans here in Memphis, how are you modded guys getting passed? As long as no ses lights are on you pass kinda thing?

I am glad we do not have emissions down here. I have friends that do inspections. I bring them all kinds of business.
