Its that of year again. I pull into the station and the damn truck starts idlung like ****. It kept dying. Rather embrassing to say the least. The truck has been running great for weeka no problems at all until i pull into here.

 

Did you go thru with the inspection??

Funny thing my tirea are bald as hell and they did notice cause they were too busy looking under the hood and gauges

 

Yeah mine will make your eyes water but it still passed!

Also, I hate inspections too. My truck will NOT complete the readiness tests with the 2002 operating system in, so I have to use a 2000 6.0/4l80e OS. And for anyone that doesn't know, there are significant differences in the fueling and air tables between the two OS's. So essentially, I'd have to completely re-tuen to run the 00 OS. The truck is already running like ****, and the tech jacks the AC up only making it run worse lol.

 

I have no idea what happened. It is fine now perhaps only like me driving or it is allergic to kwik kar

 

Glad to know my truck isnt the only one with a mind of its own.

 

Drove it to my old work last time I was in town, and a guy with a badass hot rod pulled in right in front of me. Of course my truck starts trying to die repeatedly while I'm backing into a spot and I feel like a dumbass. He did comment on the truck but I felt stupid because it was surging and wanting to die.
