Fedex quoted me almost $800 to ship a 4l80e from Glendale, az to houston tx.
Ups quoted me $540... this seems astronomically high ... just curious what you guys are paying

I shipped a 60e from Tucson, AZ to Sarasota, FL for $225. YRC, the Yellow/Roadside trucks.

Hmmm... I wonder if its because of the holidays? How much does a n 80e with a crossmember and a converter weigh? 200lbs?

I have got quotes from 4 other freight companies now... not one quote under $400.... are you guys dropping off and picking up from ups or wherever, or are they picking up and dropping off at a residential address?

Almost cheaper to rent or borrow a car & go pick it up yourself. Something that gets great mpg..
