I am a Union sheet metal worker/Foreman

Served my apprenticeship and spent 11 years in Chicago good ole local 73. That's home for me. I transferred out here to Vegas for the increase in work and pay. local 88 now 2 years. I am a certified welder, Air balance Tech I now work on the start up side doing testing and life safety certification. I don't work with my fab tools much anymore but every now and again. I am third generation sheet metal and came from a long line of different unions. My Dad is an operator and everyone on my mom's side is Sheet metal.

If your good at what you do you can't make a better more honest living I think

I just started the SH130 toll road project down here in Texas, should be a 3 years ish gig. There will be a decent amount of electrician work for all the lights, toll booths etc.

I'm thinking about apprenticing to be a poop mechanic. The offer is on the table for me. I did it for a summer and was kick *** at it. So who knows?

Or I may stay through with my current college and come out as a computer programmer/software developer. Opposite ends of the spectrum, but it keeps it interesting.
