Default How to break the stops off the gauge cluster?

I was looking at red and readys videos on youtube and I like how his speedo gauge doesnt peg out anymore because he broke the stop off. Is it easy to pull the plastic off the front of the cluster?

sweet, I'm gonna go out and take a look. Are there any screws I have to remove or does it just pop off after you take off the dash bezel?

4 7mm screws i think...you'll see what we are talking about once you get it out...and just unclip the BCM harness in the back

Do I have to pull the cluster out to do it? I figured I could just leave the cluster in and pull the plastic off the front. Im guessing that I have to pull it out to reach the part to take it off?
