it depends on how u take "hot rodding" tho. Obviously if ur known for it ur watched like a hawk because all it takes is one idiot to screw it up for those who try to do it as safe as possible, granted theres no real "safe" on city streets. But hot rodding is what u make it, its still about raw power and fine tuning but its always gonna change because everything in the world changes.
And btw, who would be down for a Salt Flats G2G?? Im in

IMO what some call hotrodding now is not what it is in the true sense. i think hotrodding is not taking a $30-40k vehicle and making it run 11s or quicker, it is taking a vehicle that any normal person could own, normally one that someone could save for 2months and buy it with cash and then completely rebuild it piece by piece yet he still drives it back and forth to work as it is his only transportation. yet when he is done with it, it will absolutely rape anything made in the world worth within 3x the money he has into it. one that a man can be proud of and honestly say yep i built it from the ground up, she's mine. not many people can do this nowadays, but it is still out there.

Hotrodding is about, doin it with what u have. This covers domestics and imports. Unfortunately it's been turned into, it has to be old cars that came out of a junkyard to be a hotrod. And that stereotype is a disgrace to hotrodding.
