Default HorsePower TV's LQ4 build

did anyone see how that made out with the rebuild? i saw when they took it apart in the 1st episode but didnt get to see the second episode when they dyno'd it...

i was at work and just had the TV on and herd LQ4 and i was like what? lol couldnt keep my eyes off the TV then the show was over

It was a stock LQ4 from an '05 2500HD sierra. They tore it down, cleaned it up and rebuilt it using mostly stock parts, no power making upgrades. It dyno'd almost 400 horsepower and the torque was about the same. I was very impressed at how much it made.

that was just an engine dyno correct?...

Yes, I saw it too, but I couldn't remember what it dynoed.

It didn't need a rebuild. Looked better than the one I am running.

haha yeah, they always over do EVERYTHING...kind of annoying seeing most of us woulda just ran it the way it was...i was hoping that they were gonna install a cam etc...oh well maybe next time
