Default Hertz ZHZ 500-1

Hertz carries 500 Corvette ZHZ editions built specifically for the Rental Company. Slightly more HP than stock at 437HP.
I've seen 1 report where one of Hertz's ZHZ Corvettes was wrecked but it looked fixable. Just expensive.

Well.... This one is NOT fixable.
The driver hit 8 cars and then took off running on foot. If he was the renter, then Hertz obviously knows where he lives.

Full story at video of damages at http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?se...ion&id=6750618

I tried to rent one of those for my upcoming Cali trip and none were available. This is probably why.

This was in Philly.
When I went to San Diego in October they had 4 of them on the lot. There are only 500 so they are spread between the major airports pretty thin.
Odds are they just sold out.

The more notice on the booking the better your odds are at renting one. Have to be 25+ to rent it.

Not sure of the numbers, as it wasn't dyno'd. I will have to check with Justin as to what EFILive was saying though.

San Diego is where I'm headed and I tried to schedule it a month and a half ago. Maybe they'll have one on the lot I can talk them out of.
