When I bought it last aug it had a a 4.3 v6 in it, this summer I found a helluv a deal on a 98 5.7 fuel injected motor, decided to do the swap. Put a good set of exhaust on it, has a ASM computer. Currently its 79 on gps, I still need more prop. Hoping to run 85 or so with a diff prop, and imco stand off box. It is a handfull to drive.[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

That this is sweet! I got a steal on a 1990 Sunbird 19' Runabout this past year. It has a new 4.3 but I had to rebuild the outdrive completely. That was $1200 in gears and parts but I still have less than $2500 in it. I wanted a 4.3 so I wouldn't be tempted to hotrod it. It gets good mileage on the water and tops out around 55. That's fast enough.
