My truck is giving the reduced engine power message on the message center. Please help. Any ideas will be much appreciated

Nothing but a tune. But it did it before and it's getting progressively worse

Clean the throttle body, that's a start. Or straight replace it if you can find a spare to test out.

 

What year truck? I know the new bodystyle Escalades are haveing issues with the tps causeing that issue which should be the same one they use on the trucks.

 

Damn, my 03 Silverado is also having the same problem. I replaced the throttle body connector, pedal, and even changed the throttle body but no luck! What else is recommended to check. This started after I got a tune. Any help is appreciated...

 

Pull on the Brown and Yellow wires by the TB. If they are broken, you will feel the insulation stretch. Replace or repair the broken wire.
