I live in Panama City, FL. The vet I went to last night wasn't the normal one I take him too. I guess several of the local vets take turns working after hours... I am still boiling over that bill! I was SOOO close to telling her to keep the damn dog! I bet she would have dropped her price a little.
I just dropped him off at the normal vet for his scheduled appointment and they are talking surgery. I asked them how much and you'll never guess there answer "they aren't sure". I told them don't touch him till I get a price quote! I know I've already got $450 in vet bills alone but I'm afraid they are going to try and stick me with a 2k bill or something. I'll just buy a new dog! One that can see out of both eyes!!

The vet put him under and did a few tests on his eye. I guess its just inflamed and doesn't look like its infected really bad so he gave me some antibiotics and told me to make sure it doesn't change for the worse. Its still swollen but it looks a little better. thanks for the "nice" comments guys haha

GF said that it should run around 300-400 bucks to remove the eye.

$55 actually doesn't sound too bad, but I'm guessing that number is actually $550 which is highway robbery. The antibiotics should take care of it.
