Default HELP Me Find a THIEF!!!

PLEASE READ. I know its long but I am desperate to find this SOB and do everything I can to get my money back, put him behind bars, and never have this happen to anyone again.

I was looking to purchase a set of rims for my brand new truck... I searched and searched all over the internet for the best deal on the wheels I wanted. I came across www.rims4less.com I called and texted DONALD NICOLAY numerous times asking about prices of wheels and tires and mounting them and shipping. We finally came to a deal and he said he doesnt accept credit cards. well I found that to be a bit suspicious. So I emailed him and he told me not to worry and call Jeff @ Velocity Wheels at 8664527799. Well I searched the number and it was the number to velocity wheels. So I sent him a bank check in the amount of $2140.00 for Benchi B12s wheels/ Kumho Tires/ Mounting and TPMS sensors. After a couple days he said he had received the money and he will have the wheels in a couple days because they were on backorder. Well it ended up after a week he couldnt get them so I changed my mind to Menzari Z09. Well he said he had to fax in some documents because he wasnt a licensed distributor or something for those wheels. So I waited a couple days and asked. He said he had ordered them and they would be in on a friday. Well they didnt. He told me they came in the following tuesday but that they had sent the wrong offset on one wheel. So it would be a couple days. Well it was going on 3 weeks now. He said that they would go out friday for sure. He took my address down again and said he was getting all of the shipping info together and that they would go out friday. Well they didnt. He said monday. They didnt. Then he said he needed another week and that brings us to today. he told me he would give me a tracking number for my wheels or my money today. He hasnt as of yet.

I feel I have waited long enough. He has stopped responding to emails, texts, calls, and facebook messages.

His info is

DONALD NICOLAY
9030 W Sahara #109
Las Vegas, NV

Cell Phone# 702-528-0500

email: rims4less@aol.com

website:www.rims4less.com

He is on facebook and twitter.

I will get this guy one way or another, and with yalls help I hope it is sooner!

Thank you in advance and GOD bless!

AJ

I called the Las Vegas PD and they said I need to contact the bank to see if it was cashed. I was unaware they could do that on a bank check and then file a police report with my local PD and then mail them a copy. Does that sound right?

If its your money, you have the right to know where it went. I don't know of a bank that doesn't allow you to put a stop payment on a check... That's a simple way to get your money back, or prevent the check from being cashed all together.

It was a certified bank check... So its not like a regular check. I dont know if they can or not. I am sure it has been cashed by now. its been a month. I have been led on a wild goose chase by this SOB.

im sure you will be ok man, if the check was in his or the companys name they will be responsible for it, i had problems with centerline wheels and it took over a year to get mine, but it does sound like he spent your money!

The check was made out to him. So he was the only one who could of cashed it with a government issued ID. I checked that out prior to purchase.

talk to your attorney, have him send the company certified letters ( he has to sign for them ) have your attourney write the letter in the anticipation that he will be sued, ( lawyers know how to do this ) have the lawyer send him a letter every week, if no answer then have the attourney mention that his local law inforcement has been contacted and the district attourney, and a lawsuit will be filed, if no response your lawyer can take proper actions to sue for the money lost ..

i went through this on about 5k, i only got back 2700 before the person i had delt with filed bankrupty

mu lawyer ( or his secretary ) done it free of charge..

Was the check sent to another state? If so that is a federal crime...
