Default Had some luck with the camera at the range today

Me and a friend went shooting this morning, and I brought my sony point and shoot compact camera along... basic camera, nothing special.

We took dozens of shots trying to get "muzzle flash" which isnt the easiest, especially when you dont have a tripod.

This first pic, was of me, a decent muzzle flash - im shooting a 40 cal here...

this next pic is just a reference for the pic afterward, which is a picture once in a lifetime!!

Here is my friend before his shot - -

Here is the shot of a lifetime... if you look closely, you can see the path of trajectory from the bullet... it is glowing!! There is a tac light on the bottom of the gun, so it is illuminating the smoke too...

I think the bullet trail is lit up because of the tac light on the bottom of the gun...

I always called that "vapor trail". I used to shoot High Power Rifle matches and when spotting you could watch the bullet all the way to the target sometimes.

Nice picture!

NICE! bullet flying through the air hot as hell will create high heat and cause the water molecules in the air to evaporate
